Dear esteemed Founding Members:

Please join us on our First Membership Mixer with the topic of “Rising Against the Pandemic: What Our Immune System may Teach Us about Innovation.” The purpose of the event for the members to get to know each other, learn more about ALUMNAS, and share more about what we can do to help each other in strengthening our community and our nation.

Summary

By now, we all know more about the coronavirus and the immune system. But today, let’s discuss together on what we can learn from our immune system’s tiny molecular soldiers' innovativeness and how we may emerge stronger from the pandemic.

About the Speaker:

Grace Dewi, PhD (Berkeley 2006 & Rutgers Business School 2017), Economist at The World Bank. Previously, she was a trade & investment economist at the Executive Office of the President and at the National COVID-19 Taskforce. Prior to joining the EOP, she was an economist at CSIS and a data scientist at BRI. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical biology from Univ. of California at Berkeley.
